Core Values

Brand Story

The Henry P. Robeson House is named after Henry P. Robeson, the founder of Robesonia, who lived from 1800 to 1860. The Henry P. Robeson House also occupies the oldest standing building in Robesonia, dating to the 1820s, giving the restaurant its unmistakable sense of place. Getting the doors open took approximately three years, from concept to launch. The Henry P. Robeson House was founded by Duane Putt with Jimmy Borst, after Duane set the idea aside for a year before a conversation with Jimmy brought it back to life. Together, their goal was to create a hometown bar that preserved the building's historical charm while offering a decadent menu unlike any other in the area. Today, the restaurant distinguishes its Pitt Beef with a house made Chetty ale sauce, slow roasted daily on two YS1500 Pellet BBQ Pits.
